Care and Legacy Advisors
We help South Australian families put their wishes into words before it's needed — and stay close beside them through estate administration when it is.
Just a conversation, at your pace.
20 years in aged care leadership
Hundreds of families guided through advance care planning
Probate-ready document preparation, South Australia
"Most families find out what their loved one wanted — after it's too late to ask."
It's rarely a lack of love. It's a lack of a plan — a conversation that kept getting put off, a document nobody quite got around to finishing.
01
Wishes assumed, never gently confirmed.
02
Documents scattered, outdated, or missing entirely.
03
Families guessing, during the hardest week of their lives.
Plan. Prepare. Protect. Wherever you are in that journey, you're met by the same steady, familiar person — not a call centre, not a script.
Plan
A guided advance care conversation, delivered nationally by telehealth — so your wishes are known, written down, and held safely.
Prepare
A guided readiness process — not a DIY manual — covering healthcare wishes, document organisation, and executor readiness in one program.
Protect
Estate administration support across South Australia — every document gently gathered into a probate-ready pack for your solicitor.
Services
A guided conversation — not a form. We sit with you and your family by video, ask the questions people tend to avoid, and leave you with a completed, legally sound advance care directive.
Available nationally · delivered by telehealth · single session
Prefer to go it alone? The DIY Advance Care Directive Workbook ($30) walks you through the same official SA form, question by question.
Plan. Prepare. Protect.
A guided readiness review and planning session, led by a registered nurse — not a manual you complete alone. We help you organise key documents, clarify healthcare wishes, identify decision-makers, and prepare your executor, then leave you with a structured Estate Readiness Folder covering personal, healthcare, estate, financial and digital information.
Available nationally · 90-minute guided consultation · for individuals 50+, pre-retirees, and adult children supporting ageing parents
We do not provide legal advice or complete legal documents.
Also available fully self-guided: the Estate Readiness Workbook ($99), the same structure without the consultation.
When someone dies, the paperwork doesn't pause for grief. We gently compile a probate-ready pack — every document your solicitor needs, organised and complete — so you're not chasing certificates while you're still catching your breath.
South Australia only · tiered by estate complexity
Why this exists
"This isn't a new problem. For twenty years in aged care leadership, I watched it happen to hundreds of families — an older person's voice going quiet at exactly the moment their family was least able to cope."
It's been happening for as long as families have loved each other and put off hard conversations — a parent who could no longer say what they wanted, a family left to guess, at the worst possible time to be guessing. Older people deserve to stay in control of their own decisions for as long as they possibly can. And families deserve real support when that control has to pass to them — not a stack of forms handed over in the middle of a crisis. Care and Legacy Advisors is my way of trying to help: the same advisor beside you from the first conversation through to the last piece of paperwork, so no one's voice gets lost, and no family has to face it alone.
Client Testimonials
Advance Care Planning
"Talking about future healthcare decisions was something our family had avoided for years. Every conversation seemed to end in disagreement or uncertainty. Jane facilitated a family case conference that allowed everyone to be heard in a respectful and supportive environment. For the first time, my wishes were clearly understood by my family, and everyone walked away with confidence about what mattered most to me. I finally felt reassured that my choices would be respected and honoured if a time came when I could no longer speak for myself. It was one of the most important conversations our family has ever had."
— Margaret L., Adelaide
Estate Administration Support
"When Mum passed away, I felt overwhelmed by the paperwork, phone calls and responsibilities that came with managing her estate. Jane organised everything into a clear plan, prepared the information needed for our solicitor and helped us navigate the process with confidence. The service saved me countless hours and removed a huge amount of stress during an already difficult time. Knowing nothing important was being missed gave our family real peace of mind."
— Sarah M., Adelaide
Interstate Family Support
"Living interstate when Dad passed away made everything feel impossible. Jane coordinated the practical arrangements, organised important documents and kept us informed every step of the way. The support saved us multiple trips, significant time away from work and a great deal of worry. Having someone local and experienced managing the details allowed us to focus on our family rather than the administration."
— David and Karen R., Melbourne
